It's been sunny and warm the last few days. I've been keeping an eye on the weather channel. Lokos like a green Christmas here! ;)

I haven't done much baking for the holidays but in my defense I've been extremely busy with everything else! Nothing stressful just enjoying the season, christmas, and family.

Church Christmas Program

We attended Church this morning! The children had a lovely christmas program that tied into the message today.

Keep Christ in Christmas. Don't say the holidays say Merry Christmas!

Saturday Overtime

At the last minute Big D had to work today. It sucks because we already had plans to go to David's Cuz Lisa for his Aunt Amelia's birthday.

We did make plans to go early to try to see everyone before his shift but apparently the party did not start at 3 as planned. lol

We also visited Big D's sister Gilda and spend the early afternoon with her. He and Gilda visited family whom I met for the first time. ;)

D Jr is staying the night with his cuz Little Rudy tonight so it's only me and Alyssa at home getting presents wrapped up and doing some chores/errands. lol Fun fun fun!

I used to spend my Saturday nights out partying and drinking and now I enjoy having my kids with me and doing things with them instead. Boy does being a parent change a person! LOL

Friday!!

Getting my christmas shopping done or most of it anyways. I always enjoy shopping even through the busiest days. I just don't like the long lines.

I don't mind the rude ppl. I don't mind the traffic. I even don't mind that sometimes you cannot find a gift lol. I still love and enjoy Christmas.

I think even the old man Big D enjoys it too since he pretty much goes with everything I do. Even putting up the decorations!

We tried to get Alyssa to model her new holiday dresses that Grandma brought for her. It was quite a task to get her to not only stay still and pose but to quiet down from being grumpy. lol.

As you can see we were too busy to take pics from this trip. I promise I'll do better on our next one! ;)

Where has the time gone????

I am so lazy lol. I've been really trying to get my blog updated and in the habit of writing again but somehow time flies too fast.

It doesn't seem but yesterday that I posted something lo and behold it's been almost a month!

As you may already know the weekend of black friday we had gone to KY to meet mom in Bowling Green for the weekend. We had such a great time and the kids got to see Grandma!!

We also have been shopping for the kids of the family. Haley, Christian, Adre, Richard Jr., Rudy and of course the little ones of ours. D Jr has been helping me shop so he's been getting more into the holiday spirit.

Last weekend we say my Cuz Maria (Aunt Dolores' daughter) and her bf and we spend the day at the Galleria in North Dallas shopping. We were just in time to watch the lighting of the tree. It was really pretty with the festivities, music, entertainment and singing.

We caught up on family gossip and each others. We haven't really spoken much since she's moved away but we do try to call/text often. Hopefully more often too. ;)

Again sorry I haven't been posting much but I promise to try harder on my daily posting!
